In the five years before his death, Hodaka made about 30 Wall Prints. In addition to the main body of his work, he also created about 20 monoprints, about 16 exhibition quality graphite drawings, and a score or more of “Miscellaneous Prints” as Margaret and I have come to call them. Most of the latter are simply a reduced size of his regular prints. We show only one example here, a print that is a slight variation, but mainly a smaller size, of the print No. 485. FMC House on Sloping Road, P.M., 1982. The print was produced to give as gifts to guests at the wedding of one of Hodaka’s students.
